With a background in technology advising and a history of serving in the White House Science Office, Mills brings a wealth of expertise in science and technology policy. Earlier in his career, he made significant contributions as an experimental physicist and development engineer at Bell Northern Research and the RCA David Sarnoff Research Center, earning multiple patents.

He's renowned for his leadership as Chairman of the firm's Investment Policy Committees, overseeing diverse investment activities across the globe. Prior to establishing Concorde, Dr. Wood excelled as a premier portfolio manager and advisor in Houston, quickly earning recognition for his astute investment policies. Relocating to Dallas in 1981, he founded Concorde Companies, focusing on investment management and financial advisory services. Additionally, Dr. Wood co-founded International Hospital Corporation, spearheading healthcare development ventures in Latin America. His broad business acumen spans healthcare, software, manufacturing, and investment management, alongside active engagement in Dallas's civic and charitable spheres.

Bret Swango

Bret Swango leads the Workforce Analytics consulting practice for the Americas, utilizing his strong quantitative skills to provide organizations with workforce-related insights for location-related decisions globally. Before this role, he directed a team in Chicago, developing tools and models to tackle complex business challenges, ranging from financial statement and risk models to business intelligence tools. Prior to joining Colliers, Swango served as a lead consultant at Allstate Insurance Company, where he optimized staffing models for contact centers, leading to a significant increase in utilization and profitability. Additionally, he contributed to the development of a model addressing inefficiencies in the agency compensation system, driving profitable growth through capital redistribution.
